March with BURG in the 4th of July parade
We will have our own float, with a positive message: "Let's keep Blacksburg special as we grow!" Help us make a big showing. Wear your green BURG t-shirt, if you have one, and just show up, Wednesday, July 4!
- Meet at the Old Blacksburg Middle School
- Arrive by 1:30 PM. The parade will leave promptly at 2:00.
- Our line-up number is 20 (counting from Main St. and Eheart)
- The parade will end at N. Main and Lucas St., by the new YMCA
- Shuttle buses will be available to return marchers to the Old Middle School

The legal fund passes the halfway mark !
The BURG legal fund has collected $10,100, more than half of our initial goal of $20,000. Many thanks to everyone who has contributed. We will still need to meet our goal in order to be prepared for the likely litigation.
Our attorney is preparing the case, and we will be prepared to join the procedings on behalf of the town's residents. At the moment, we are awaiting the developer's expected appeal of the Blacksburg Zoning Administrator's ruling to the Board of Zoning Appeals.
