Legal Update

We have heard back from the Virginia Supreme Court regarding our petition appealing the decision of the Montgomery County Circuit Court. A panel of justices will hear oral arguments from us and from the Town of Blacksburg on Wednesday, August 27. Both petitioners will have ten minutes to tell the panel why the Supreme Court should hear our case. The court will then consider the oral arguments in conjunction with the written petitions we have submitted, and will decide in a matter of weeks whether to take the case. A hearing on the appeal would then be scheduled, probably no sooner than Spring, 2009.
